CYC Counseling Program

Enhancing quality of life one child, one adult, one family at a time.

OVERVIEW:   The Colonie Youth Center (CYC) has been providing free and low cost counseling services to residents of Colonie and their families for over 30 years. CYC's Counseling Program provides workshops and group discussions on a variety of topics affecting children and families including anger management, conflict resolution, parent education and developmental issues. If you have questions or would like to make a referral to the counseling program, please contact 422-4356. To access services please call our intake number at 518-422-4356. A therapist will return your call to answer more specific questions and discuss your situation. Appointments are available during days or evenings Monday through Friday. Services are free or deeply discounted to families that meet income and program guidelines and live in the Town of Colonie. Otherwise, there is a flexible sliding fee scale based on family income.

We accept CDPHP insurance.
