5th Annual Crossings 5K Challenge

Individuals, Teams and Walkers are Welcome!!

Join us on Sunday, September 28th for the 5th Annual Crossings 5K Challenge.  The race begins and ends at Colonie Youth Center’s Rudy A. Ciccotti Family Recreation Center.  You’ll be running a fast flat course along the great path at The Crossings Town Park.

Cost is $20 by September 27th;  and $25 on race day, September 28th.  The first 300 registered receive a long sleeve T-shirt.  Registration also includes an organized warm-up and stretch, food and beverages, entry for some great door prizes, use of the massage tent compliments of Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy. 

Day of event check in and registration begins at 8am; organized warm up at 9:30am, 5k Race/Walk at 10am with awards to follow.  Kids’ Fun Run will begin after the 5K race concludes at approximately 10:45am.

Kids’ Fun Run is open to all kids up to age 12.  Registration is free. All kids will receive a medal for participating and pizza.  Kids’ long sleeve t-shirts available for a $10 donation. The Kids’ Fun Run is sponsored by Tech Valley Homes. Must be registered to participate.

All proceeds from the day will benefit Colonie Youth Center’s recreation and fitness programs, school age child care and family counseling services.
