Dear Friends and Supporters,

The Colonie Youth Center, Inc. (CYC) annually serves over 7,000 children, adults and families through our quality school-age childcare programs, professional mental health counseling services and our year-round recreation, health and fitness programs at the Ciccotti Center. CYC is dedicated to enhancing the living experience for you and all the people in the greater capital region.  Please support our efforts by giving to our 2012-2013 CYC Annual Appeal.

More than ever, children and families in our community need your support.  Your gift today is vital to helping CYC to meet the school-age childcare and counseling needs of dozens of low income    families in our surrounding communities.

Last year’s contributions helped CYC to provide critical counseling services at no cost or low cost to 45 financially needy families.  These families have faced many challenges and stresses such as dealing with the death of a loved one, domestic violence, custody issues,   bullying and school behavioral issues, and much more.  Without your support today CYC may not be able to provide families who will need our help in the upcoming year with the same access to caring professionals who stand ready to help.

Last year’s generous donations also made a difference helping nearly 65 low-income families to pay for their child’s childcare in the CYC Before-School and After-School programs.  Working but financially struggling families who qualify pay a fraction of the true cost for services. Your gift will provide a mom or dad with affordable care and the comfort and peace of mind knowing their child is safe and taken care of so they can focus on working to meet their family’s essential needs.

Please give generously to the Colonie Youth Center, Inc. today. Help us to provide these important   programs and services for children of all working families regardless of their ability to pay.  Kindly choose to make your contribution online by clicking DONATE at the top of the page, or by printing out, completing and returning the reply card with your tax deductible donation

Thank you for your support of the Colonie Youth Center, Inc. and helping to meet the needs of our   community’s children, adults and families.

Sincerely,

Patricia A. Maguire                                  Nikki A. Caruso, MSW
President, CYC Board of Directors             Executive Director
